# Media importer

**Media Importer** allows you or your users to add persistent media annotations throughout your level during runtime.&#x20;

This can be useful for quickly adding native web-based panels to your project (like websites or video content) without having to ship these within Unreal Engine.

## Enable Media importer

Once you have followed the steps on [quickstart](https://docs.odyssey.stream/realtime-configurator/quickstart "mention") you can use the Media importer from within your project spaces.&#x20;
